we still have those all over the south. there are at least 5 in my city.

 

Benchmade just came out with their newest model of balisong.... the Model 62.

My fav edged weapon is the kukri of Nepol. As something to carry on the street a good stout Irish blackthorn walking stick. Unlike your edged weapon I may carry it in hand and ready on the street.
