Alright im only 19 about to be 20 and ive been growing my hair for awhile now and wanted to know if its natural to shed alot of hair in the process. For awhile it was so notted up now i can comb it and brush it but seems im loseing alot of hair... Im starteing to worry cuz my grandpa one of em was bald but my dad whos 57 still has all his hair. what are the signs and how can you tell besides a recideing hair line. I do have a widows peak or whatever its called
I'd say its pretty normal, I have long hair and alot always comes out, but it's just thin and weak like that.
Yes,hair loss can be hereditary but also poor diet is a factor.Even chemical additives in foods & stress are causes of baldness. I have a big bald patch on my scalp now..... ..........alas the bushy hair of my golden youth is no more.
It's no big deal, even if you are losing it. All it'll end up affecting is your own vanity, if even that. It certainly won't affect your ability to get laid. As far as physical traits go, it's about like anything else: some women dig it, some women don't, and the rest don't care one way or the other. Thank heaven for the last two groups.
Well I have long hair and a lot comes out. But if it was knotted and your brushing is you will lose some hair. But don't worry, Im sure theres nothing to worry about.

It sounds like your hair is like my younger brother's. He started loosing his hair at about your age. His solution was to shave his head and go for the bald look. (Dude, it aint what's on top of your head that gets you into her bed. It's what comes out your mouth.)
Losing your hair isn't always as bad as it sounds, ok, maybe it is as bad as it sounds. All you can hope for is that you have a pretty normal shaped head because if you had one of those huge abnormal domes then you will look strange.
A lot of my guy friends have long hair. In the summer, it gets all tangly and they shed old hair that's just dead and falling out. That might be your problem. Maybe try washing your hair every other day or if you pull your hair back, don't do that so much. Then again, you could be like my father was....had long hair until he turned 20....then it all just started falling out. He's bald now.

The last guy I dates had a receding hairline, so he shaved his head to hide it and was completely bald. Now I normally like guys with lots of long hair. But as the relationship grew closer I began to find his bald head unbearably sexy. I miss it so much, and every time I see a bald guy now, I think of him.
