Bagpipes

Theres a dude(my neighbor) who is playing bagpipes, very well.. too bad it sucks to listen to :[

 

I love listening to someone playing the bagpipes well. I used to have a neighbor who sucked and it was so annoying to hear them squeaking and shit all the time.

 

This dudes pretty good.. just i dont like the sound of bagpipes, but atleast his shit isnt annoying ahah.

 

I love bagpipes, it has to be sad music though, you can't play happy music on bagpipes

 

Haha yeah, for like six months at least twice a week I would come home and hear him playing. But I moved so its all good

doesn't their sound travel like miles or something crazy like that? lol maybe not that far, but pretty damn far at least

I don't know bagpipes seem to have more of a mournful sound, they just don't work as well all upbeat and happy

They were intended to scare the English and pump up the Scots - now they are considered sad

 

makes sense, the history of Scotland is pretty sad

 

aren't they used traditionally in funeral songs?

 

my gramps plays the bagpipes! he's good... i've never heard him make them squeak or anything

he's played at a lot of funerals, including my great grandmother's

 

bagpipes are cool if the person playing them can play them
A few of my friends play didgeridoo and record DnB with it...fuckin wicked stuff one of the oldest instruments in the world aswell

my cousin has a didgeridoo and it's just fun as hell to mess around with

 

the didgeridoo is one of my favorite instruments, even tho i find it quite difficult to play

dude do they have any stuff online, cuz id love LOVE lOVE to hear some didge mixed with DnB....i can only imagine
