Bad Taste

Now thats a good movie. Very nasty but extremely funny. If u ever getthe chance to see it, do so!

 

I've seen it. It was funny, although I despise seeing gore, so I didn't really enjoy watching it.

But it's hard to imagine that Peter Jackson directed both that and Lord of the Rings. Talk about different movies...

 

its also hard to imagine him as directing "heavenly creatures", bad taste is great, i havents een it for ages tho, braindead is also pretty funny ,

 

I used to love that movie! Been a terribly long time since I've seen it... need to try and hunt that down again! That van he drove with the Beatles cutouts in the window.... hehe... classic!

 

The van with the Beatles cutouts was one of my favorite parts. Also pretty much every scene having to do with that one guy's brains falling out.

 

its so funny when one of the guys kicks away an aliens head out of a window. that cracks up.

 

I remember watching this back in the day...

It had that b-movie charm about it I guess.. lol

 

The question is, was it intended to be a serious, thought-provoking horror movie or a splatterfest?

 

lol, watch braindead (also called dead alive) and Meet the Feebles, and then it might shed some light on the matter.

I just can't wait for the day when some doting parent sees something like meet the feebles and rents it for their kid, thinking that it will be lovely becaue it's about puppets and is made by that charming scruffy LOTR chap...

 

you won't believe, but the name given to Braindead in spanish was "Tu madre se ha comido a mi perro" (your mother has eaten my dog ) Yes, i'm not kidding.

Anyway, now that he almost destroyed the best fantastic book ever, now that i'm a Peter Jackson's hater, I don't like his gore stuff anymore, hehehehe.

 

gotta say! i prefer braindead myself, especially the priest who kicks ass! , bad taste is ok....i like the way the house flys up in the air at the end! very good for such a low budget film

 

yeah, braindead is also very good. its the funniest when the priest comes and says: "i kick ass for the lord."

bad taste is the best. theres only about 4 actors in the film. has anyone seen the making of it? its pure class A

 

i had a copy with the movie and the making of. but our video fucked it up.
i gotta get a new copy.

 

Love both bad taste and brain dead but brain dead has the edge for me (love zombie movies;anyone seen shaun of the dead?)

The Bastards Have Landed

 

me and a couple of friends. we have all seen bad taste and that inspired us to make our own movie. we are still filming it. its a B-horror/comedy. with aliens, zombies and heads being crushed.
