Bad Smell

There is this horrid smell in my house. It's driving me insane, I keep cleaning and cleaning and I can not find the cause of this... I am going to go nuts.

And someone hid my fabreeze from me.

AARRG.

 

probably a dead mouse once it fully decays the smell will go away

 

Yea, but it's been like a weak now... it had to have been something bigger then a mouse. It's absolutely disgusting.

 

have you showered/bathed lately?

 

huh maybe something but if it were a mouse
it still take longer than a week to decay

Have you checked the potatoes? They are pretty horrible when they rot.

 

I have taken a shower... I have moved the couch... and I threw out the potatoes last week.

I am getting frustrated.

 

maybe a pork chop fell between the cushions.

 

It's a dead relative living under the stairs. Don't turn your back and don't go to sleep...

 

If the p trap doesn't hold water sewer fumes can escape into the house.

The smell could also be coming from the ac unit if you have one.

 

Did you look in the crawl space under the house

I remember one time, there was this horrible, horrible smell in my friend's car, and we didn't know where it was coming from.. we seriously looked everywhere, cleaned and everything.. but it seemed like there was a dead rat or something in there. Turned out we found this wrapper eventually, under the passenger seat, with leftover eggs from a bagel! When we opened it, we both puked.. right there. The smell was that gross. We also had the best laughing fit of our lives

 

I don't think it's the A/C... I thought about that too... it's not in my room.

Have not looked there... but I do not dare to venture there. haha I'm too claustrophobic and paranoid for small place I would have to crawl.

 

EWww... Good possiblity the kids hid something in the kitchen that I'm just not finding yet, it really wouldn't surprise me.

 

And If it is coming from the A/C unit be careful of Legionnaires' disease
