Ok so the other day after about a year of no luck i find some tabs. so i buy 5 2.5 for me and my friend. they were white with a little bit of black in the corner on each one. they were about 1/2 mm squares. well we take all 2.5 one at a time holding each in our mouth for about 5 minutes (was this long enough). then we swallowed them. this is the first time i have droped L. but am very experenced in psychedelics. well we wait and wait. about 2 hours passes and we get very minimal wall breathing and some good laughs. about equal to a 1-1.5 gram dose of alright boomers. my friend had the same stuff from same person about a week before and he had 3 hits and tripped hard. he said this was about 100 times weaker and he had only .5 less of a dose. we went out side at this point and no effecs (about 1am) except the stars seemed to vibrate thats it. our eyes dialated for about 12 hours and we got bad gas. so what do you guys think? Also the guy we got them from has been a good friend for about 5 years and has never ripped us off. he always has legit stuff, and like i said my friend took some the week before and triped balls.
It's either 1. It's degraded and most of the potency is gone. 2. It's bad blotter(as in it's not good material to be absorbing liquid) 3. You've expected too much from such an unpredictable substance.
The only choice that is reasoable is #1. Bad blotter paper? be serious. Sounds as though he knew what to excpect and thats why he questions the doses. Actually LSD is very predictable. It's individuals reactions to the effects that are unpredictable.
I'm being dead serious. I'm not talking about ACTUAL blotting paper going bad(which is a stupid thought), I was talking about how the dealer could've used a shitty material like construction paper to pose as blotter paper. But are you kidding? LSD being predictable? You're correct about the whole personal reaction to your brain that the drug does, of course. But, he also said it was his first time, meaning he didn't know the reaction that his mind would have with the chemical. Everyone hears that one inexperienced guy every once in a while when he tells everyone he saw spiraling rainbow dancing alligators sitting next to him and smoking a pipe. So, maybe he was thinking too much of the rumors of acid effects. Which concludes to my 3rd option on the list.
kid your sixteen. what do you really know? i mean PB is 48 year old how could you question him. seriously the youth thinks they know everything nowadays.
Dude, with people putting liquid on everything from gummy bears to triscuits to cheerios or sweetarts, the list goes on and on, how in the world could you think that something like the type of paper used would effect the LSD, especially when he stated that his friend, who is experienced with acid, took some a week earlier and said they were great. Actually you can use construction paper for dropping liquid on. Considering I have done that very exact thing to the tune of over 500 doses I know it works. The only drawback is it doesn't absorb quickly, and the dye for the paper tastes nasty, other than that no complaints ever. You think LSD interacts with different people's brains differently? WRONG! LSD does the same things to everyone who takes it physiologically speaking, which is what we are talking about "the reaction that his mind would have with the chemical". I think I have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about
Not hardly, I'm just a normal guy who actually takes the time and effort to research a topic and get the facts BEFORE I open my mouth and declare that I know what I'm talking about. What just struck me as humorous is that I have had dry spells of no LSD available or I wasn't interested that were longer than Peace,Music,Life has even been alive, and he's going to educate me? (although you can mess around with me anytime PV )
Hahaha, don't tempt me I'm just reffering to ppl that try to tell you that your info is wrong, I trust whatever you post. I know you know what's up, specially w/ LSD. Don't fuck with the educated, you will get called out
Most would rather fuck the educated, not fuck with. At least I would rather fuck the educated over Billy Joe Bob inbred, lol
I'll be right over....... Drugs aren't the only thing I'm knowledgable about, I know some stuff about girly parts and how use them :drool5:
best acid i ever had was on normal white computer printing paper. and yeah it's actually amazing how repeatable the LSD experience is . . . shocked my friend when he took it a second time and found himself in that same place! he thought it was a once in a lifetime magical thing, that all his future trips would be lesser and other . . . but no, lucy delivers.
LSD does go through very definite stages of effect that are the same for everyone, it's the content of the mind that is different for each person. I posted this description of a trip progression last year.: "The mechanisms and progression of an LSD experience really is the same for all users. They Are: 1. The come up: uneasy feeling, slight nausea, feeling like "something is right around the bend" increase in energy, slight visual differences. Starts within 15 min if a good dose; I.E. 150+mics is ingested and lasts about 30-45 mins. I always refer to this portion as "shifting gears". 2. The Show Begins: Visual effects start to increase rapidly, trails, colors intensify, patterns, sounds start to be intense, music takes on a whole new intricacy, EVERYTHING can make you laugh, you can get stuck with an ear to ear grin that makes your jaw ache! all things take on a new significance, can be positive or negative, begins at about 60 mins and continues for a few hours. I refer to this portion as "The Circus" or "Being on Laughers" 3. The Peak; If you consumed a good amount; 200mics or more for me, then this is when the fabled ego dissolution or ego death can occur. I say can because the set and setting of your trip, your expectations and willingness to "let go" are the determining factors. This is typified by a stripping away of all that you hold to be "you", all the labels you are attached to, all the relationships that you use to define yourself by, down to the most private inner core of "you" until the realization comes that even without all those defining labels and rules of conduct, you still "are" and all life around you just "is". It's an ineffiable experience and has to be gone through to "get it". It can be heaven or hell, you determine which. Physically often you will be "couch locked" weak muscles, slight uncoordination, ect. Visually everything can "melt" and you can experience a "whiteout". Just relax and float downstream. 4. The Plataeu: This is a period after returning from the peak experience where all the visuals are still going strong, music sounds awesome, Everything is imbued with a new sense of wonder and awe, and generally great feelings; if you went through heaven not hell. Can last for a few hours. 5. The descent to normal: This is marked by decreased visuals, but everything is still vibrant, music is great to listen to during this period, especially on headphones. Your energy level mentaly rises back up and you start to be cognisant of the material that has been brought up by the experience. Great time to listen to music (classical is incredible for this portion, no heavy beat, psychotrance rave stuff, something mellow and flowing), close your eyes and allow your life, lessons, and wisdom from your trip to present itself to you through the "plays" that flow from your subconcious mind. I call this final portion "Thinkers" or just take in the splendor of a sunrise or sunset accordingly and allow your soul to speak to you. All these "stages" can overlap and last longer or shorter, but there is a definite sequence to an LSD trip and that is pretty much it. All the above is assuming an LSD only experience, though I do like to smoke some MJ towards the end myself. Even though the sequence is predictable and consistant, the content will ALWAYS be different because that is provided by you and where your life situation is at. So ends yet another long-winded post by PB_Smith. Thankyou for your patience." So @ peace, music, life the LSD experience is very predictable, just the content varies.
That's a great breakdown of it. I also feel intuitively that the comeup to psychedelics in general is a "shifting gears" event. This is the most uncomfortable and uneasy part of it, because your are sober when its happening, and you can feel your sobriety being replaced by something alien . . .
That "shifting gears" phase, really is present in all drugs, whether you just dropped acid, are having a beer, or just chugged a red bull. It just depends on how much attention you pay, or in some cases, how much attention you are forced to pay. I've gone out drinking with friends before and have been unable to participate just because I become so nerve racked at the shifting gears phase of alcohol. That phase is the beginning of a shift in consciousness, whether you are about to get drunk or are about to trip. Alcohol is more of a seductress so it's harder to notice the signs, but with something like adderall or ecstasy or LSD, you get blasted so forcefully it slams people in the face with anxiety. Do you drink Mr. Writer? If so, look out for the same signs, the beginnings of the shift from sober consciousness to buzzed consciousness. It's worthy of examination, and it's just one of many ways that alcohol has been almost as a psychedelic for me over the years.
I always enjoy paying extra attention to what my body and mind are telling me. I get good practice from all the new drugs I try and endeavor to write a trip report about. I do drink yes. 2010 has seen an increase in how much i drink, but its simply because im more social, and drinking tends to happen when in social situations. i enjoy the alcohol shifting gears, i think seductive is a good word to describe it too. its a very slippery and inviting thing.
I used to be a social drinker, and I established within myself that the false dichotomy of psychedelics (mind expansion) vs alcohol (ego, repression) actually existed. Not saying that is you, just explaining me. I was absolutely convinced that solitary drinking was one of the warning flag signals of a loser. Eventually I found my way into this niche though, and to be utterly truthful (and, dare I actually say this within a psychedelic forum) my time spent alone with alcohol has been more long lastingly luminous than any of my psychedelic experiences. You should try just being completely alone and drinking by yourself Mr. Writer, the drug of alcohol has been maligned because it's easily abusable as a party substance. But what I've found is that it's nothing more than a magnifying glass. If you are interested in partying and you drink, then alcohol is your party drug. If you are interested in self-inquiry and you drink, then alcohol is your drug of choice as well. Check out this article if you haven't before, I got it from TheMadCapSyd, it's an excellent read that expresses what I'm trying to say better than I ever could. The Zen Of Drinking Alone
I bought myself a bottle of wine yesterday for exactly this reason. I want to just sit down, alone, with music, and drink, until I can't drink anymore. Not because I'm depressed. Not because I'm an alcoholic. Because I want to experience what alcohol can offer in the classic introspective setting. I will also definitely smoke some pot at some point, what do you think about that.
