    greets ..

If you ever wondered f such a thing was an invention of Hollywood.
    No

A stripped down W82-1 nuclear shell at 43 kilos. More likely 35 using todays materials tech.
2 kilotons. thats a lot less than Hiroshima..But, imagine 2000 tons of TNT detonating in lower Manhattan. The buildings would amplify shock.

Humanity can do anything.. especially if the insane set their minds to it.

nuclear devices in a suitcase are the goodies for futur terorist, even if they existed for 30 years, the worst case senario wouldnt be the blast itself, but the intended fallout like cobalt 60 witch would make manathan inhabitable for hundreds of years. the french made a portable rocket luncher operated by 2 men witch can fire small nukes over 2 km away... i dont understand the point of sutch small devices other than terrorism.
i found a vid on youtube of a world map whit all nukes test form 1945 to 1995. 2000+ blast in total, might not be entertaining but surly informative.
