After driving all night, I arrived back at the farm early last Sunday morning. Yet my spirit has been lingering at the Gathering till this morning. But this morning, almost a week later, I woke up to my usual grounded self.

So not only am I able to look at this computer, but suprisingly, I've been able to turn this thing on. And, well, here I am.

So what about the Gathering? In twenty words or less? Few things expose the weakness of words like trying to describe in mere words a separate reality like the Gathering.

Zenia! Your an angel! You were our Rainbow Spirit! The Gathering truly began for me when you arrived.

And speaking of Rainbow Spirits, it was great having a chance to get to know Michael. The way he kinda flowed about reminded me of the Old Toaist Wanderer.

Zenia, I feel much better knowing that you, Buddha, Mariano, Chester, Jade, Thunder-May, Spencer, and Gismo all got home safely. That second Mexican restaurant was also closed, and I forgot that you didn't know that the super market was way out at the edge of town. We back tracked but we couldn't find you.

Did you ever make it to that commune in kentucky with Basil?
When I think of the six of you with the three dogs and all your stuff in that little Windstar, I can only admire your inner strength.

Charlie's in Indiana?! Did I read that right?! What happened to the Vancover Isl. Gathering. Get this; We found your shovel, it was hiding under the unopened tarps, and I sent it with Ethan and his son who were going to the Vancover Isl. Gathering. Funny huh?

Brian, brother we did miss your kind soul after you left. We thoroughly enjoyed all the goodies you left us.

Scott, it was great hanging out with you and getting to know you. And I have a question for ya. Do you know anyone who might have a copy of that cool map of the Gathering that was down by Info. I was thinking that it would be kinda fun to make a game based on the '04 Gathering. I thought you'd be the best one to ask because you were so hooked into the infastructure.

Jessica, thanks for stopping by, and by the way, tell your Fiancee that he has good taste, because you are definitely Sexy Dreads.

Apple Spark, I wish I had known you were there. But you caught our 4ums kitchen on that hilarious night when Dan and his two Sisters Jan and Margarette were cracking up the whole neighborhood with their spontaneous comedy. The crew at Saturday Night Live wish they could be as funny without a script as Dan and his Sisters.
Apple Spark, you were camping near Yoga Healing Arts with Sam? I think he came over one day and I met him. What's his name on the Forums again?

Thanks to all of you, you all helped make my Gathering experience so meaningfull.

I'm glad you enjoyed the goodies. Anything to help make it a little better for everyone. Did you guys get any use out of the cider? Kinda wished I stuck around for that.

I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer, but it turned out to be a positive thing for me in the end as I got to the Bay Area right before a god friend of mine left for her trip to Mexico. We stayed up all night gabbing away about this and that. In the end, it looks like I'll be moving down to the Bay Area next spring. That will be quite the adventure as I've lived in the Seattle area my entire life.

I wish I had met Sexydreads and Applespark. Maybe at future festivals, right?

Anyway, I'm about to head to the lab to pick up my film. Then I'll go scan them and post here. Should be Tuesday or Wednesday by the latest.

Glad to see that ppl are back safely. Talk to everyone soon, I hope.

    Brian

Are you talking about the large map that was painted on the sheet of plywood? I suppose someone might have taken a picture. Karin Zirk or Hawker or Marken or one of the other Info folks might know, or maybe One-Six. (I can spell her radio handle. Won't even attempt the name.) You can look up their emails on AGR. A bro named Guano used to make maps of the sites. He has a website linked to WelcomeHome.

Some of my friends have been thinking about a Rainbow trading card game similar to Magic, or an RPG...

Hi, Charlie here. Well, I made it back to computer land just about a month ago. Though I did have a brief run in with the internet in Davis California about a week after the gathering. This is the first that I have seen of this thread as it was buried deep. Never made it to B.C. the mama who I was going to hitch out with ditched me at front gate. I jumped in a van with some folks and a crazy man going down to Davis. Slept out in the bushes behind a co-op that night. Next day went down the street to a homeless shelter and got a shower. Man you should have seen that tub after I was done with it, bleh!

Anyhow the folks at the co-op we nice. I went in said "hey, I just come down from the gathering" and some kind folks there says "hey that's pretty awsome, here here have some free organic fruits and veggies". Now that's just what I did, I loaded up on tasty food and headed on up towards U.C. davis lookin' to find some folks to share with. I found 'em too. Up there at this place called "The domes" were some fine folks indeed. Cat named Chris up there and some other folks too. Place was called "Bag end" (hobbits live in bag end). and I figured that since it was my birthday (25th) I should do as the hobbits do on thiers and give out presents. Presents I gave, and everything was spiffy. I saked out in a converted school bus. There was a kitty cat lived in the bus and that was neat too, kitties are awsome. http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:vR1OuvN0dWEJ:http://home.uchicago.edu/~hwang6/kitty.JPG

To make a long story short (and long it could be) I got a free greyhound ticket to Indiana. Once there I helped some friends set up a gaming store (D&D, magic cards, and the like). Next I got a job canvassing for Sierra club in Columbus Ohio prior to the election (a lot of good that did). I went on a date too, oh boy! Now I live in mid state Newyork in the middle of nowhere. I am taking care of my grandmother on her farm until march. After that who knows.
