When my son was eating that stuff, I used to just make the babyfood myself. I liked knowing exactly what was in it.

My made my baby food too and I will make it for my kids. Babies don't need all the extra sugar and crap that they use in most baby foods.

having the fruits and veggies mixed together helps the baby like their veggies. it may sound gross but it is pretty good for the veggie and fruit to be mixed. when aide ate the mushed baby food his favorite wasapples and sweet potatoes.

That's actually pretty smart. I would have never guessed that, but it does make alot of sense.

That's very cool :) My mom, when my brother and I were born, also made our baby food... My parents atm actually had a garden with their house, before we moved into the city when I was 8, and grew as much as they could. Whatever they couldn't grow to eat, was first saught after at a local farm and farmers market, and then lastly the grocery store.

    Homemade food is always best.

And I do agree, apples and chick peas make a weird combination.

I try my hardest, being a dad isn't too hard though, I got a great kid. Sometimes it's fun to feed him prunes When mama has the day off......
