    hm, good question. i havent really looked into ayurveda. i wonder if anyone else knows.

    Ayurveda is perhaps the world's most ancient and intuitive wholistic health science. Do you want a cookbook? Or to know how Ayurveda classifies foods? In any case, one needs to first determine their prakriti or nature, of which there are seven main types.

    A good book is called Spiritual Nutrition by Gabriel Cousens

    It's not just about ayurveda, but there's a couple of good sections on it.
