Has anyone brewed this? Based on the instructions on how to brew it on Erowid, it seems a hell of alot easier and cheaper to make Ayahuasca tea rather than extracting the DMT from a plant of some kind. Anyways, i'm going to get the ingredients for this brew in the not so distant future. Has anyone else made it?
Yes, I brewed up a B. Caapi and P. Viridis mix a few months ago. Was there anything in particular you were interested to know?
Be careful! I would suggest doing it in a ritualistic manner. Not necersarily just like a tribe or anything. But respect this tea as if it were a teacher of wisdom about to show you a deep connection you have with the world. Treat it as a meaningful once in a while experience. Do not treat it as a toy or a source to get high.. it will back fire, simply because this is not what this is..
That's what i was planning on doing more or less. I'm going into it with a purpose, rather than just having fun. Although it'll probly still be a "fun" experience. Anyways, i guess the only thing i wanna know about it is where i can get the things i need. And if M. Hostilis or whatever else is the best ingredient to use out of them all. That's all i wanna know. Thanks in advance
There isn't anything fun about it you basically have you problems and ways you are an ass whole thrown in your face and are faced to deal with them for hours. Be careful once more.
You're literally the first to ever tell me this. I've never seen anyone say anything like that about their experience. But you gotta remember, everyone's experience is different am i right? Or is it totally not subjective at all lol. Has anyone else experienced this? D:
I used m hostillis and syruan rue. It was easy to do. Brew the powder for a few minutes and take it out and strain it so it's only liquid. You'll find instructions online where people boil for days. Don't buy into that. It's a waste of time. Trust me. I would not recommend the doses people suggest here. 1 gram of hostillis is enough, start with that. The experience is different for all people but the shit they don't tell you about is the coldness of your body, feeling like you're going to die etc etc. There was a time where I took too much of either syrian rue or hostillis and I felt exactly like a schizophrenic must feel. It was horrible so take it easy.
The instructions where people boil for days are probably not Hostilis and rue, but caapi and viridis. Very different preparation techniques for both...
I was planning on using the vine, rather than rue. how much would getting this shit cost me? any reliable sources for what i need?
traditionally caapi and other ingredients are macerated and simmered outside for about 12 hours. I would say considering how woody caapi vine is its not a waste of time to make sure you prepare it right by boiling thoroughly. Aya will show you the wickedness of your own ways. It's true. sometimes it has been described as pure hell... Yes, aya is nontoxic but it can kill from unmitigated terror. A lot of folks report having their asses handed to them from aya. You are going to visit the best doctor, and as such this doctor is going to get all the nasty shit you have out the door. Its going to involve intense work. The first times taking aya are always about intense purification. Those 8 hour orgasmic astral journeys you hear about do not happen without some serious psychic house cleaning taking place first. Respect the vine, they don't call it the road of the dead for no reason.
Shit, gotta tell ya, I see now that i've been totally clueless. Thank you for your insightfulness. I would have never expected to be faced with my "demons", so to speak. Is there any means in preparing myself for such an experience? Or is it a matter of biting the bullet and hoping for the best, cause if that's the case, i'm not so sure if i'm going to be ready for this anytime soon.
