so theres bunk beds in my dorm room. i have the top bunk. now, usually i just hop up from the side of the bed. well, today, since my desk is at the end of the bunk bed, i decided that i would step onto my desk and climb into bed. this makes things so much easier. now i don't have to work so hard to get into bed. i can just step up and pretty much crawl into bed now. i can't believe i didn't think of this before.

well, looking like an idiot doesn't bother me that much...and my school would probably get into a fit if i brought up a bunk bed ladder to use.
In Boarding School, we used to take the legs off one end of the bunk then raise it up by having the longer legs on top of the desk and the shorter legs on the dresser. Then we'd put couches underneath where the bottom bunk would normally be. That and a whole host of other furniture configurations - fun times
