Simple, those who find it difficult have the understanding that God is only impersonal. When God becomes personal, it's difficult NOT to Love Him Peace my friend *
I find myself these days, at least twice a day, profoundly overwhelmed with a cosmic mind, and at the most unusual times during the most mundane activities. Just so filled with Love! I was crying with joy over the beautiful blessing it is to be able to cook food for my son in a warm, safe house. Just crying, no worries and no problems. I am most thankful for this and riding the bliss wave with you guys
The Gayatri is a very interesting mantra. It has a wide range of possible meanings. Just the first line - Om bhur bhuva suvaha - can be interpreted very many different ways. There is also a fifth line, which is only given otu in secret by teachers to advanced sincere seekers. It is not meant to be chanted, but to guide the seeker, when in deep meditation, to realize the oneness with all beings.
To awaken the divinity, right directions are needed. These directions can be given only by a true Master or Mystic. Whatever mantra like Ram, Aum, Krishna, Waheguru, Allah, you can choose, practice it with right breathing technique. http://www.gurumaa.com/divine-mystic-master-gurumaa.php Don't be a believer, be a seeker. --Urmila
Hare Krishna! From Urmila..... To awaken the divinity, right directions are needed. These directions can be given only by a true Master or Mystic. Whatever mantra like Ram, Aum, Krishna, Waheguru, Allah, you can choose, practice it with right breathing technique. Dear Urmila, Welcome to the Forums. Thanks for your beautiful first post. Just a few words to add to your readings. When we know that the true Master is within ourselves, it does not seem to be an absolute necessity that the right directions (? ......When there are countless directions then which one is right and which one is wrong ?) should come from an outside true Master. Ma Anandamoyee and Ma Amritanandamoyee did/does not have any Guru, we know that. If we do not know or believe something what do we seek for ? Feel, it is better that we be the believers first and then be the seekers. Hope to see you back in these pages soon. Love, Kumar.
