I love this artist. So talented, he was a Swedish musician, DJ, and remixer. Saw this on a news update. Only 28 years old. Wtf??
I can’t even Supposedly, he had a serious drinking problem, like since he was a teen. They won’t release yet how he died, but that’s been written about him.
Sad really, but I hated Levels and I'm a fan of Darude, so I'm just wondering how much of a heavy drinker he really was?!
He was more than Levels, but I like Darude, too. And Armin Van Buuren, would love to see him live. My best guess from what I've been reading is that he had health issues, that went back to his teen years, and sounds like they stemmed from drinking. So maybe that was part of it? He died in the middle east, in like a touristy place, so not sure if he was vacationing. So sad, though.
Its crazy how alcohol can catch up to some people so young and some can be hardcore alcoholics for years before suffering negative health effects RIP
So sadly true. Genetics? I don't know. I looked at his website, and he made a documentary about his life. Sounds like fame was tough on him, being in the limelight, and that might have been what caused so much drinking. Fame and fortune can't take away your demons. Never heard of him and judging by a couple songs I just listened to I wouldn't be able to get into his music but nonetheless RIP & I hope you left a life worth remembering

That’s the official cause but they’re not saying “how,” yet. I can’t believe it. I’ve been reading that he seemed happy at this time in his life. Idk. Life is such a mystery, sometimes.
I think he had just stopped touring for the past couple of years because of his health but he was still making music. Indeed, so sad!!
Did something special happen to him in Oman? Did he have a fight with muslims there? Why was he calling to his parents? Why did his brother fly to Oman to bring him home to Sweden?
Not sure why his brother went there, maybe he had a bad premonition? But, ''foul play'' was ruled out, and the last update I saw was that they were ruling it a suicide. He had depression issues, due to being overwhelmed by fame, I've read.
