I was wondering what the average yield of dried weight was for the common outdoor grower. I know weight depends on the strain of weed, and other factors, but for the most common outdoor varieties of non polinated female plants(sinsemilla), what do most of you get weight wise from a plant, dried and cured and trimmed buds,etc.. I have gotten between 400-500 grams of dried buds from Skunk#1 plants crossed with Big Bud. Also I have gotten 30-40 grams of bud from the small auot-flowering strains which only take 3-4 months to grow and harvest, and of course they flower no matter how much light they get,and are pretty potent , and are easier to hide than a 4-6 foot tall regular strain of weed.
every year i get at least 1 two pound monster....smallest last year was aprox 2oz....i cant really keep the yields seperate in my situation as the mature tops are trimmed off to let the lower ones finish...it all gets mixed up in the trim
Yeah I top of mine also, but not big time. I know how the yields are pretty hard to keep seperate when you have more than one finished off at the same time. Thanks for the input, I personally never had a 2 pounder !! lol..was it a female unpollinted, or a pollinted female with some seeds? I know some people let their females get pollinated then when they start to produce seeds, then they harvest them with those tiny inmmature little seeds, to add a little weight..Anyway, I prefer indoor "gardens" myself, but I also like the outdoor natural sun growth style as well, plus it's all lot cheaper as far as no electricity bill!! Do you remember what kind the 2 pounder was? I know my Big Bud crossed with Skunk had a good 500 grams of buds and shake total, no seeds, but I think I coulda gotten a lot bigger plant had I waited a while longer to harvest it, but it was getting late in the season and I was afraid of the idiots from out of state who tend to let their males keep on growing, or forget about a few plants and they come up wild the nest year and a male or two grows and pollinates some of the locals females ,from over a mile away...This really pisses people off when they worked hard all season to have nice females from good stock and they end up getting pollinted and the potentcy is lower ,plus the damn seeds make people pay less for the harvested goods..
