Avatar confusion.

Sometimes, when someone has the same avatar as a regularly posting member, I read their post and think: "Wow, that certainly doesn't sound like so-and-so, why would they say that?" Then I realize it is someone else.

I definitely associate certain avatars with certain people. You definitely can't have the same icon as someone else. It just fucks me all up.

Anyone else notice this? :sunny:

 

I'm susceptible to this too...it doesn't fuck me up as much as it used to.

yes i definitely get confused sometimes because of the same avatar.

i used to use the stoner one with red eyes and a joint in his mouth, but it's really common. not too many people use the pig one, and it fits my name pretty well.

and as TNS said, you can use your signature as your calling card too

 

I use Avatarblock, so I don't see peoples avatars. I think it's all about the words people write and not about their avatar.

I did it one time with you and skitzo as you have the same one. I was reading one of his posts and thought "I was sure he was married", meaning you. Was rather an odd feeling and thank god I checked the post before posting it or it would have made no sense at all.
