Guess I'll start the new season thread. Well the moon viewing wasn't as successful as I hoped. Dang clouds rolled in half an hour before the crucial point. No moon to be seen. It did peek out eventually and I got the tail end of the eclipse. Just as it was coming out of the eclipse I think. And in the clouds after. That last one wasn't processed, just shrunk down.
Post anyways, it is good to mess with peoples minds. Great shots Lucy, I especially love the last one!
lol Or just post in the respective thread. If it's summer there, post in the summer thread. Believe me, when it's we're stuck with snow up to our necks here, we'll be loving your summer photos!
Your pagan horse chestnut figurine (right out of the Blair Witch Project) cannot be classified as true environmental art and as such cannot match the power of good magic Hotwater
Hello, maybe. From the bench where I left the chestnut thingy to the next human settlement it's at least 45 minutes on foot. I wouldn't expect random people to be there on a workday. Regards Gyro
Hello the last red peppers of this year: Or maybe not, I just spotted a new flower . Anyways, this two guys will end in my pasta in a few minutes . Regards Gyro
Hello, yepp. And even more interesting: one tasted like tomato, the other one was mighty spicey . Regards Gyro
Nice clouds and colours at the lake. This one I took with my phone, a wider angle. And with my DSLR, closer. darker
I was walking by the lake after picking something up for dinner and noticed a picnic table that someone dragged down to the shoreline of a beach area. It was so inviting, I decided to stay at the lake to eat. Good decision, it was cool out and not many people out so it was quiet and peaceful. I even got to see a rainbow! I stayed until the sun set. It was at a weird angle from my vantage point, going down into the trees, but good colours. Nice end to my day. My view while I ate. The rainbow. Not much of one, but you can see it to the right. A sculler went by. The soft swishing of the paddling was soothing to listen to. And the sun setting just before I left.
