Last year, when I was too naive to think it through but knew it's how we should go, I posted here and on another intentional community forum about starting intentional communities for people along the autistic spectrum, families and other cool people who fit in.

Aside from causing a spam avalanche in my email, I discovered that there are a lot of people who know that this is what we need to do. Enhance each other's live. Take charge and not just hide, beaten by all the confidence killing events that the education system and society, in general as help cause.

So, my husband and I finally got message boards started about getting us together to make things happen. Real life things. We all have so many resources. experiences and ideas. We need to build up some real life solutions.

We have an infant asperger board and an infant autism board, dedicate to this stuff.

    Here's the asperger board

The autism board is up but I haven't put any subjects in it yet.

Help me brainstorm so I don't wander around an empty board taking to myself.

Thanks for the responses. The boards are pretty lonely right now, being only a few days old but the need is real. And so are the solutions.

Also, autism and aspergers syndrome are exciting, creative enough to attract care givers who love things like art, music and animals. So it's about care givers finding a new way, too.

    Hi,

I'm a 29 year-old Aspie living in the UK and am really interested in your idea. I know the original post was a long time ago now, but if you're still ''live'', I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know.
    My email address is richardjamessutcliffe@hotmail.co.uk
    Thanks, and good luck,
    Richard

I'm Aspergian, and would be interested; but the links you gave seem to be dead now. :(

Bumping up a truly ancient topic, but ... any of these folks still active here?
