Aussy people go barefeet?

Hi!
I am from Italy but I have been to Australia quite a lot and I saw lot of people going around barefeet specially on Summer.
Since i go barefeet too , I felt like home.
But I have never seen a place like Australia for barefooters.
So do you enjoy so a lot going on barefoot on down under?

yeah i like it alot. i would have never thought of going barefoot until i read about the benefits on this website. Now even in the summer, im realy trying t get used to having cold feet. I just love having no shoes on, and u really do get to relate to ppl in a new way.

 

yep i was bare all day,,,, i "missed school" and went on a road trip with friends instead. Because i only had my school shoes, i bare footed it all day, except when we went hiking. hehe

 

Do you go barefoot at school too? But you ned a uniform i think.

 

hahaha i went to school barefoot one day (at fancy private school). the headmaster saw me and it resulted with me being politely asked to leave the school.

mmmm this winter i was barefoot whenever weather permitting. i love being barefoot so much that i have caught about 10 colds this year. mmmmm im an idiot but i figure that it will boost my immune system.

in summer holidays shoes get totally abolished unless going to sydney or going hiking. v. socially acceptable around here... can go into classy restaurants barefoot, and in summer shirts also tend to die.

 

yeah i must say it does feel great,,, especially in a supermarket on the really cold floors hehehe

 

ooooh the supermarket just HURTS on hot days when your feet are all blistery and then its just BANG COLD

 

for once i look forward to going into a supermarket...

I once walked around the Adelaide CBD with no shoes for a couple hours on a 40+ degree day. now THOSE were blisters!

i personally like wearing shoes. i cant be fucked having to watch where i step. i live in redfern and there are things id rather not worry about stepping on.
also i hate grazing my feet or tripping on something and hurting them real bad.

and i hate getting them muddy caus then the mud has to go somewhere to come off and the door mat can only take in so much dirt..

when i was in high school i would go barefoot sometimes. id usually get most way through the day without anyone noticing. as long as you dont look at your feet...
