~~Aurora Borealis ~~

wow! i have never seen anything so amazing! I was completely stunned when I looked up in the sky and was able to see such a special and incredibly trippy phenomena. I didnt think it was possible to see the northern lights right next to chicago with all the light pollution. This really was special for me- has anyone else had any special sightings?

they were faint and usually just one color like green or light purple and appeared to have a vortex, (i think its actually called a corona)very beautiful, looked somewhat like this:

There should be a LOT of unusual aurora sightings because we just had a VERY powerful solar storm, affecting earth's upper atmosphere:

*gush* that most be weird I see it like a million times every winter and I love it...it dances over the heaven, plays with you..and so it's suddenly gone..lovey really...
