I'm a little disappointed. I bought their new album, Out of Exile, and I have to say it's not as good as I thought it would be. Their first album was explosive and this one kinda sucks. Any thoughts?
it fucking blows i was soooo disappointed they got so soft, i was rather suprised with chris cornell. i really dislike out of exile and want my fucking money back.
One thing you have to remember is RATM is no longer around. These guys are amazing musicians, and they can't just recreate the RATM sound perfectly. I personally think the new Audio album is awesome! I know it's not like the first one, but here's why I think it's a good thing. The first album was to me like the RATM sound with Chris Cornell singing. It was really cool, but you could tell they were separate sounds. This new album to me sounds totally original, like they wrote it as the band Audioslave, not as RATM and Chris Cornell.
thats the thing chris cornell thought the first audioslave album sounded too much like soundgarden and RATM, not enough of an orginal sound out of exile does have a new sound, but i still dislike it compared to the first album, soundgarden and RATM
