Auckland

Anyone in the Auckland area? I know someone who plans on coming to Auckland to see the Queen musical and was thinking of getting some info to pass on.

We Will Rock You will be at the Civic. Good hotels nearby that don't cost an arm and a leg?

 

Hmm... try a backpackers place? There's a few in town

 

Um, I think my friend is more of a hotel or motel person.

 

You really can't beat the backpacker lodges in Auckland... anywhere in NZ for that matter. The price of a single room is still far less than hotel and the places are usually impeccably clean and well cared for by American standards... (wait, we have standards?)
