Week 1. First week in soil, root production. No nutrients just tap water left to stand for 24 hrs. Planted with rockwool cube still on and left under soft light for 18 hrs a day Week 2. Sill rooting,had to move to grow room because of visitors and ended up drying out some of the lower leafs that they had used for nutrients.to soon for the lamp so moved back to soft light for another week and gave a mild plant food solution.
Week 3. Showing signs of top growth so moved to grow room. Kept the lamp high to let them adjust to the light. This is the runt of the litter still wanting to grow strong despite its brush with death. Week 4. Lovin their new home now on full plant food and light. Been fighting to keep humidity up. used wet towels hanging in the room for the lamp to heat up and also a tray of gravel filled with water. Also using a fan to keep temps down,move air around and make them strong. Week 5. I hav topped all but the runt. i did this to make the plants short and stocky but also to keep them of even size. Some where growing faster than others so doing this evened them up.spot the runt(front left) this plant had 1 leaf two weeks ago. Just go`s to show how strong these plant are.
I move my lamp out the way to take pics i hav it about 7-8 inchs above. i use the back of my hand to judge the temp of the light at the top of the plants. i hav probs with heat it gets hot in there but the more i vent the more humidity i lose. im thinking about getting another fan one to blow on the plants and the other to blow on the lamp. i hav to keep the room sealed because of cold temps outside of the room. any help on this would be welcome
Repotted into final contaners. i noticed the bigger plants slowing down so i looked under the pots and saw some roots poking out. i think i potted them to low in the pots so they didnt get the full benifit of the size of pot.This time i potted them nice and high. Repotted and lovin it. i put white gravel on top of the soil because the soil temps where getting really high and i hope this will help reflect the light/heat also it should bounce some light on to the lower parts of the plants.
I Also Use Rock, Well Not Rock But Silica Or Exp.clay I Find It Does A Number Of Things It Repells Fung.knats, Reflects Heat,evens Out The Water When You Dump Water On Them And Obove All It Looks Good! _______________________________ Overgrow Yo Mammas House!!!

can someone explain to me about the rocks. i know about water distribution and whatnot but do they just go at the top of the pot or do you mix it in with the soil or what?
