Mild aspergers along with mild autism. Are the only reason our species is still not guarding caves and grunting.

    Many will laugh at this.
How many people of note have been attributed with mild aspergers or autism.?
Those lacking in the field of idiocy called social powergames and facile useless crap?
Try Tesla. Beethoven and Einstien. Jeffeson , Michelangelo , Darwin, Kubrick.
    Thats just a start.

Why is it that prodigious savants are always autistic?
    Savantism is my interest..
    Fascinating.

It is said the world is what we make it.
The bureaucratic dictatorship we live in now was made by very small and greedy minds. parasites
Minds like Einstein, Darwin and the Buddha. Imagined how reality worked.. and they were correct

    This made me laugh.
To say their imagination is correct is like saying their being is correct. Their imagination is their imagination regardless of particular content.

A lot of that's just speculation that those historical figures had autism. I've read that autism entails a difficulty with abstract thinking, and if that's the case, that would put an autistic person at a disadvantage for innovative thought. If an autistic is an abstract thinker and just have trouble socializing, then you might be onto something. I think its just a general term used to lump an assortment of conditions together and that that this has to do with the fact that the autistic spectrum isn't very well understood.

    You conveniently leave out 'communication'
And yes i should have said 'imagining' not imagination

    Quote Einstein
'In understanding reality imagination is far more important than intelligence'

He freely admits he imagine/ered relativity theory. Which has be shown to be fact using what we call science.

Darwin did the same but of course he copped masses of backlash from creationist religion. But hey maybe god is a patient one.. and evolution is his way of doing things. small steps.

The buddha i cant fit my head into.. The wisdom is profound and is that not , in the end all that maters?

Correct means correct.. that is. what they imagined is true by human standards. Thus their imagination is a very powerfull tool to human understanding. Their 'being' is a physicality and not related to this post.

Sometimes imagination is more important than the truth. Sometimes imagination can lead to the truth. Some would say that we aren't logical beings in the first place, but foremost emotional beings and that logic is guided by emotions. What is imagination if it's not lead by our emotions? We feel that something makes more sense than something else.

I always noticed that the most interesting people have some form of autism or Asperger's... they make a lot of leeway in the formation is culture and art. Just look at Larry David... he doesn't understand social rules so he ends up angering a lot of people, but in the process he unravels all the silliness of society as a method of trying to change it.

    They are wall smashers.

Viper.. Yes many are not 'known' to be autistic or aspergers but show some of the mannerisms.
Mild aspergers and autism shows most often as disconnection to what people are saying.. And this pisses people off. Thus you have up front a reason for calling them names and degrading.
Agree there are many and varied types and results.. each case is unique

The general trend is that mild cases produce very interesting people.
Sometimes brilliant sometimes off the edge into nothing.
Manic dedication to an idea [like tesla] or wild genius like Michelangelo

    they are humanities wild cards.
They are as the movie the matrix proposed. the systemic anomalies
without such .. even with reason we become like cockroaches.. all the same.

the prodigious savants are reaaly what im interested in.. those that can hear a piano concerto once and then play it note perfect on a piano even though they have never even sat in front of one before.
Those that can tell you ' it was a saturday' when you ask what day it was 129811 days ago [and do it in 6 seconds]
who can multiply 276589 by 56945689 and get the right answer faster than it took you to ask the question.
These people are a window to what our minds can do

i like windows. they let in the light

A friend of mine told me I have aspergers but I've never been diagnosed as such, I have pretty flat affect and people definitely misinterpret my facial expressions. Im not sure this is at all related to aspergers but I have like little ritualistic rubbing type motions when I get nervous or excited but its not really involuntary like a tic its more of a comforting thing. I have pretty good memory in regards to someone says a word it triggers a bunch of contextual memories (episodic memory) but not that great of factual memory, like I wouldn't be good on jeopardy.

What is imagination if it is not lead by our emotions.
    Well said.

Mild autism and especially aspergers is a disconnection of emotion in social
network. This does not mean no internal emotion. Far from it.

I have been told by several 'professionals' that i display some of the same 'symptoms'
And to be honest i think i do. I have seen several people die in my presence and 'felt' nothing but observation of the fact.
    I do not panic.
That people die means nothing to me 500 died while i typed this far into a post and 502 were born.
Emotion is 'interesting' I burst into tears watchin soppy movies but feel nothing for people on street about me. Several friends into buddhism have commented that i have a calm center.
Then why i ask does humanity infuriate me?

One of my fool friends let it out i was not well.
Many came to give sympathy.. i told them to fuck off 'im not dead yet.'

If i was not so interested in 'concepts' i might be a Larry David.

I don't think anyone really is interested in reading about my emotional state. It's not even interesting to me.
    Larry David

That very honest of you.. thanks dude.
You sound like an alright peep so ill come back with / I am opposite in memory. My episodic 'visualization' is simply not there. BUT everything that is said. everything i have ever read is right there to use.
To not remember what a person looked like but remember everything they said word for word is , useful, in a world where lies abound.
It creeps some people out.. the liars.
The 'ritualistic' aspects sound like low level aut/aspergers. But humans do that all the time.. its called body language. I tend to massage my lower arms 'like wringing hands'

    Aspergers R Us

You get the position you want.. sales/store room/accounts exct

The fact that people die means nothing to most people.

Asperger's is the new ADHD; it's popular as a dx because you can be insensitive, rude, and lazy, and doesn't mean you can't be myopic and underactive. Sure. Some people have it, but it's simply not that common. Possessing a calm demeanor doesn't mean you have autism. I relate very well to people, but I don't burst into tears over death. Normal people don't.

You don't need a label to be a special, unique snowflake, and even if you do have autism, it doesn't pardon you from trying to develop empathy, a core component of Buddhism. Empathy, understanding how people feel and caring, is different from sympathy, letting it affect you. And if you don't have empathy, you have nothing.

No, you are conveniently not paying attention, and moving from imagination to imagining does not alter the aspect I pointed out.

Asperger's syndrome is an autism spectrum disorder that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests.

I suggest that they have difficulties in social interaction because they are not part of the cult. They are allowed to see things differently because their mind is not engaged in monitoring perception for the purpose of complying with a social model. Within the cult, novel ideas are discouraged. Autism is a problem for society.

Knowledge, being material, takes up space. New information can only enter in a field of viability called not knowing, so I understand the significance of imagination.

I don't agree with your statistic of great thinking being predominately associated with aspergers, but I agree with the idea that novel information comes from altered states of consciousness.

The mind is extremely powerful, all that we perceive is an idea and there are no idle thoughts.

As far as being defined as physicality, all statements of being are voiced through the abstract mind.

As far as being related to this post, there are no discrete systems.

I agree with that. My little brother is mentally handicapped and the school he goes to has a lot of autistic individuals. I've gone and volunteered in the program that they have for them. It's awesome they take them to work and teach them life skills that they need to survive. They are the smartest kids I have ever met! They just have a hard time communicating it to you. Once I got to know them and learned how to communicate that was it, they started teaching me shit, lol. That was an awesome experience. Just thinking about it makes me want to cry...I miss my little bro.:(

And accepted social interaction is defined by whom?
The MASS of people who do not like any idea , event or person that does not fit in with their accepted idea of security and self empowerment.

Repetitive actions are not an issue here.. they are a problem for those who percieve them as some sort of disorder. An excuse to say .. 'he is different'
    [burn him]

Autism is not a problem for society.. Society is a problem for those called
'not normal' How do i know this.? Look at the world 'normal people' have made. Where human evil and greed runs everything. Where honor and integrity, truth and heart are childish ideals that should be shed if you want to make your way.. This is not civilization.. it is a sick farce.

16% of thentire population of earth has some level of schizophrenia.
    An excuse?
What excuse does Say the US.. The most powerfull nation in history.
Need to be so rude and insensitive a to invade a nation on the opposite side of the planet and then have the sheer gall to say they did it to protect our freedom.. or do we need to be told that we must give up some small part of our freedom to preserve our liberty HAHAHAA

50 yerars ago ADHD would have been laughed out of a psychology school..
Now they are like cia and nsa.. cute acronyms slim minds banter with in attempt to understand a reality they are LOST in.

"The fact that people die means nothing to most people."
When it happens at checkout at local supermart i say it does. For people actually screemed and ran away when this gent simply dropped dead while looking for wallet.
The entire atmosphere became charged with what i call the panic mode. Only a young girl of say 17 and myslf even stepped near.. She rolled him over. I did the basic fingers on neck to see if there was pulse.. zero.
Goodbye my friend its hard to die. When all the birds are singing in the sky.

When death is in your space all those that secretly 'dont care' start to care a whole lot for their own skins. They are the ones who run or shy away.. or if state sanctioned . come to watch
    a sick farce

All that is wrong with 'normalcy is embodied in one act.. carlin noted it..
They swath your arm in antibacterials before slipping in the death needle. After all you dont want to get sick after your dead.
The mind boggling sheer STUPIDITY of it beggars the 'imagination' i was talking about

    The cult. Societal culture
The MASS of people who do not like any idea , event or person that does not fit in with their accepted idea of security and self empowerment.

    .
I didn't say repetitive actions are an issue, and yes the autistic present a problem for society, that is why it is under investigation, society at large has difficulty dealing with the behavior of autistic people.
    .
Can be however some are no where near caring for anything resembling the concerns of society. Therefore I do not think you know what you think you know.

As far as your perception that human evil and greed runs everything, that is hysteria.

However I agree that civilization, modern culture, is a pathological liar, promising happiness while delivering disease

    That simply is false.

Nothing to do with the topic at hand.

ADHD was originally recognized in 1902.

Having been around death pretty extensively, I can tell you that's an atypical reaction.

Panic is natural around death. Most people don't "care" about individual deaths though. Being nervous and some degree of chaos is natural.

Not my experience. And I work with the dying.

I don't think George would have had much sympathy for people who hid behind labels like Asperger's.

It is my impression that you could help yourself by using arguments that are somewhat closer to fact mr. razor. If you want to make statistical comparisons it is necessary to have the correct statistics.

Even the brightest intellect is subject to occasional errors in perception. For things that can be checked for accuracy, we should undertake to check our work before going to print.
