I have never asked for a raise but there have been times I wanted to. I just asked for my boss to pay insurance for me and he had no problem with that, thats one of the reasons I would not ask for a raise right now. I wouldnt even know how to ask for a raise.
i actually just got one only a month ago a dollar to put me at fifteen dollars an hour cash but i think i want another one! i just work with a friend and we have a semi-communist thing going where we both believe we are the backbone of our two-man-show but ya he does work hard he is a recovering drunk what they all do is just switch to workaholism the construction industry is based on AA members!
would you? for reals?? just kidding. I mean one would be nice and all but I am pretty happy with what I am making.
I don't need to ask for a raise, I'm rich already... No, because I am lucky to have the job that I have without having a college degree...
i've never "asked" for a raise. my first job gave automatic annual raises, so that by the end i was making $10.50 an hour to bale hay... really no room to ask for a raise there... my next job i didn't have that long. next job i was given a raise and i didn't even realize it had happened until about a month later. my next two jobs had raises negotiated when i started the jobs, so i just had to go and say "hey, i now meet the qualifications; give me my raise" when the time came
ive asked and always gotten them...and promotions to go along with the money...just do something that you semi-like, do the job well....and you have no problems
