Again, this was a good topic on another message board I browsed with over 20 pages of Q and A. so lets hope some good convo is started.

Ladies: Ask any questions you have always wanted to ask guys. What do they do that you don't get? What do you not understand about men? What seems so confusing and requires explanation?

Man: Answer these questions as best you can.

Do you like it when a girl is interested in you and tells you even before you have a chance to say anything?

    Yes. Of course.

    It's flattering.

Men rarely get feedback on their looks or desirability. Plus, most men are very clueless when it comes to body language and subtlety.

it depends on the guys taste in women. i mean if she seems like a nice girl next door type and shes done like every sexual thing then yeah it would be sort of surprising.

What do you WANT from a woman? Say you want a long term relationship with one you like...what are your expectations?

Yeah, definitely, but most interested if it's a long-standing crush, not just a short "oh that guy's hott" thing. Transitive interest is ... well ... transitive. :p

Nah. If you know what you like, more power to ya. Just help me find what I like. ;)

Basically, someone who I can be attracted to on all three levels (and vice versa): body, mind, and spirit. Gotta have similar interests, a similar (open-minded) mindset, a defined personality, and take care of their looks. I think that's simple enough.

I want a woman who I can wake up with in the morning, and, when the sun is setting, realize I haven't looked at my watch once.

    Thats my ideal woman.

Why is it that guys like to be the one to talk serious stuff in the relationship but get freaked out when the girl brings it up? Not that I have a problem with it, I prefer it because I like when my guy can say what I am kind of already thinking.

Yeah I do. Like what IronGoth said it is very flattering. It kind of puts my mind at ease when I am looking for someone who likes me.

Ultimatly I would like to have a long term relationship with a woman. Not just that I want to raise a family with one. The perfect girl for the job is somebody who is open minded, has depth to their charicture and is interesting to talk to. I met just a woman, but it turned out she didn't want a relationship. Bugger!

Here's a vague and difficult one. How can you tell a guy REALLY loves you, or may have the potential to?

Well if it was me the way you would tell is the fact that I will be interested in you to practically the point of obsession. When I love somebody I always put them first. I am even willing to sacrifice my own life for them.

Yeah that would be kinda hard to miss haha. No but I mean what are signs a guy COULD fall for u? For eg, if his friends say stuff like 'he usually doesn't act that interested, but with u its different. i can tell he really likes u'.
my best friend said when a guy kisses u on the forehead u know he loves u but tats bullshit. i knew my bf loved me when he'd do just about anything to see my face for even 5 mins. he finally confessed his love and we were together :)
    yay.

but yeah just wondering what are signs a guy is falling for u?

When we bring something up, we have had a chance to think it through. When a woman brings up "serious stuff" it feels like a test. If we get the answer wrong, we are in trouble.

Men (OK, ME) think that women care more about what we want than what we do. "If I were dead, would you remarry?" is a good example. Men don't care what women do after we are dead. Women seem to think that remarrage after death somehow dishonors the dead.

Stuff like that makes us leary of talking about "serious stuff" unless we are prepared.

(Yes. Tons of stereotypes and other inaccuracies. Insert "some", "many", and "seems to" where needed.)
