I've always been an artist. i've always drawn, painted, written, read, sung, etc. When I was in high school I was quite the depressed emo kid... what kept me going before, during, and after I was in the foster system, and what probably kept me going all my life was my art. Anyway, in high school all i thought about was art to the point of where I'd lose sleep over a piece. Honestly since I was first placed in the foster system at 16 I haven't done that since. i've always been busy with... something else. but I've begun to see that indeed my art keeps me sane... mentally and psychologically. SO, my point is, I'm gonna start diving deeper into my art again. What do you guys thing? Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas? Inspiration?
natures always good inspiration for me. of course psychedelics.. hmm idk what ever ur really into whether its politics, sewing, business, red pick up trucks doesnt really matter as long as u like it and just go from there
i think you should do your art. if it keeps you happy and you love it that much, then go w/ it, and good luck
I've been smoking plenty of bud, trust me. Listening to The Beatles and all that good stuff... been drawing a lot, filled my house with blacklights. I've never tried the other psychadelics, though I very much want to.
Sometimes il go weeks or months without writing music or drawing pictures. And other times- when im in the mood, I can write 3 songs in an hour.
I don't have a scanner or anything like that at the moment... but yes. LOTS of color. i used to use such dark colors back in the day but for the past year i've really become quite the little miss Rainbow Brite!
since you have a black light try this. turn the lights completely off and draw with a yellow highlighter on a piece of paper. since you cant see it help boost your imagination and sense of space. then turn the black light on and draw on the same paper with another color of highlighter. i did that on acid last weekend... but i used the sunrise instead of a blacklight.... although i had one... but i forgot to get batteries
I think LSD could, quite possibly, open up a whole new artistic world before. At least... I've never seen it fail before. Also, as someone else said, take inspiration from anything and everything you love. Even the tiniest, strangest things. Actually, usually those tiny strange things are the best.
I'm trying to find it... very hard to find around here, though a friend of mine might get some good stuff soon. I've never tried it before, but i've always wanted to ever since DARE taught me what it was and what it did, lol. Then when I read the Beatles biography, learned about Timothy Leary, and listened to songs from the Beatles such as "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Blue Jay Way", "I am the Walrus", etc., and I saw Yellow Submarine.... There's gotta be something to this LSD.
