Artificially made.

There really needs to be a better definition. How is something natural combined with other things that are natural suddenly become artificial.
The definition boils down to if it's man made and not natural.
Well salt isn't naturally on a steak so is that artificial?

 

pure vanilla extract....artificial vanilla extract.....massive price jump for the good stuff

 

is there a way of making anything without the use of artifice of some kind?

if nature made it for you, then it was found. this is called hunting and gathering. nothing wrong with that. you just can't expect everything you might want that way.
