    Howy Folks,

4/20 Gathering kicking off in Arkansas, In Ozark St.Francis National Forest,
Leatherwoods Wilderness near the Buffalo River.

Taco Mike is on the land, needs help and kind energy. Anyone who would like
to plug in come on down now. Help us get the word out. We are focalizing for
National, let's get together and start the energy rolling. E-mail me back
with directions to any Spring Regionals in Missouri so someone can come up
there for council. We should all work together. Below are dirsctions from
Mountain Home. Some of you may have been to a reagional at this site before.

Go to Mountain Home, Arkansas. Take Hwy.201 south to the junction of
Hwy.341. Take Hwy. 341 south over the White River and turn right on Baxter
County Rd. 72 at Rays Country Store. There is a sign there for Cartney
Landing too. Go straight down Co.Rd 72 for about 3/4 mile and turn left on
first left which is still Co.Rd. 72. There is a rock stack there on the
turn. Follow Co.Rd.72 on for three miles, stay on main dirt road do not take
any fork or turn off. Road ends at Trail Head. Park along the side of the
Road. Walk in following trail 1/2 mile down to main site. There are rock
stacks that will show the way to Mike's kitchen.

    Peace Love and LIGHT!

Sami, Cindy, and I arrived at this site Friday afternoon. Heavy handed law enforcement had driven all but a half dozen hippies out of the woods. We four-twentied on a little rise on private land adjacent to the Wilderness area, surrounded bu LEOs. The kids left on site packed up Saturday, and were scouting for a site on National Forest, rather than NPS Wilderness Area, land.

Would someone please cross post this to WelcomeHere?

Yeah, they were looking in the Ozark NF. Probably not moving more than a few miles.

Got any suggestions for a better place? Check out the scout report & if you know of an area in OK or TX that might work, please speak up.
Course leos are gonna hand out tickets, that's what they do...guess they gotta pay for the extra money they use watching hippies somehow & since they figured out that there are more folks who will pay the kangaroo fine rather than fight the tickets.... and yeah, there are some folks trying to hone out some treaties with the leos & I'll sit back & wish them luck but I won't be holding my breath.

Sounds like it was nothing more than a-camp. But thats what 4/20 is, a party. Now if it was an Earth Day celebration it might have gone down differently, maybe not. Point is tho it was poorly executed, they tried and we love them.
I think its more than harsh to say that the AK family is "weak", I think its darn rude and disrespectful to post something like that. Hippyguru (spelled "hippie" wrong) shame on you. Love You brother! :H

Surely you don't mean this? Then who would the Drunken Thugs have to intimidate? Oh, no, waitaminit that's PROTECT. The Drunken Thugs PROTECT the Frilly Hippies from shotgun wielding child molesting rednecks and cops, yup, that's right, that's the official Party Line.....
