wow, as far as arizona is concerned you guys are really quiet... i can't stand this state, especially living in uber-republican phoenix, but there has to be one or two cool people out there... anyway, let me know! i'd love to chill with someone...
Get Your Kicks on Route 66.From Williams to Toprock across the wild expanses of Arizona.Don't miss the Grand Canyon,Set off west to Ash Fork and across the open plains toward Seligman. The classic section of 66 is south-west of Kingman where the old highway begins to climb into the Black Mountains toward Oatman. There's still wild donkeys that wander the street. Then it's a long descent out of the mountains towards Toprock on the California border, make sure you plan your fuel stops. It takes around 4 days to savour places along the road and with a motorbike licence you can rent out a Harley-Davidson.Like the desert climate and golf courses in Scottsdale.
Hola-I agree too many conservatives here but it is slowly changing with the influx of CA people. And 2nd term for DEM Gov. I am in Pheonix and have been for 5 years. Thought it was time to meet some like-minded people......so hello!
I'm quite fond of Arizona. I have been trying to figure out what it was like during the 1950's to 1980's there, specifically 'round Phoenix, but I've been having trouble finding anyone who will talk about it. I suppose it's a wide time spectrum to be interested in, but I'd listen if anyone wouldn't mind sharing some history.
misterfox- it's hard finding that sort of info i would imagine because phoenix undergoes remodelling nearly every decade. there's hardly anything left that's preserved from history... it's one of the reasons the place lacks a grasp of culture
I wouldn;t quite say that but It is hard to find people that are From Arizona. Phoenix is such a new city that it is still making it's history.
