This last week has been the week of doctors for me. Went to the eye doctor to get my first pair of glasses since I am now near-sighted. Went to the hospital today to get an Echocardiogram. Tomorrow I am off to the dentist. Then I also had to get a girl check-up, a cat scan, an allergy test and some other crap that I've forgotten about. I've gone almost my whole life without once going to the doctor. It's funny how everything seems to happen at the same time.
It's all good. The Echocardiogram was actually kind of cool. Although it creeped me out a little to see the inside of my heart... especially the valve. Blech.
He asked me if I wanted to at first, trying to trick me, cause I know that I'll never get out unless I take their pills.
lol The ear, nose and throat doctor I had to go to was named Dr. Fear. It was disturbing. The last few doctors I've been to have been nice though. I've decided that most doctors are pill pushers though. It's annoying.
i hate doctors and avoid them whenever possible - most of them are pill pushers, they get shmoozed by the pharmaceutical companies to do that (and they might have bedlam's sig nurse working for them )
Once all your appointments are over you should feel as good as new. I'd feel happy knowing I was good to go for a few more years. Everything okay with you? An Ecogram sounds kinda serious.
yup. if you want pills, go see a doctor. if you want to get to the root of your problem, go see a naturopath. ps, how's your heart valve? i bet it was absolutley wild watching your blood get pumped thru your own heart.
i think dr serve a purpose... the problem is most people take there word as gold. and forget that they have a right to a second view and to educate themselves on whtas going on in there bodies
