If you think you are fearless I dare you to post a picture of the prophet Muhammed here, preferably a mocking one.

Or, more accurately, the US government. It's funny how it's acceptable to berate Muslims and their religion, but say anything remotely negative about the Jews and you're an anti-Semite. There are other religions and cultures I would rather poke fun of than those that are already unjustly under attack. I probably have more sympathy for Islam than I do any other religion, though I feel that all religion is ultimately bad no matter how you look at it.
No, seems a big may be to me. But I don't care about the extremists. It's just that I know no practicing muslim likes Mohammed to be depicted. So unless it is a really hilarious picture I am not intrigued and regard it to be done just for shock value.
Who said it was acceptable? You don't have to be fearless to post stupid pictures on an internet forum...
About 8 years ago, maybe. Where have you been? Do you still think this is controversial? http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=147366
The guy who made the cartoons is still on the hitlist. I don't know where you have been, but it is still relevant today.
Which hit list? The one that allows him to travel around the world promoting the cartoons he drew? Sure, he is still a wanted man by some, but it has not stopped him from showing work. It's more slightly provocative than controversial, imho. You also inferred that it would be a detriment for anybody here to post pictures. It was already done 8 years ago, and we all, well all that still post here, seem to be safe.
