I wouldn't say I'm a liar but I have told a lie before... usually to spare someone's feelings. I almost wonder if it is possible to get through life with never telling at least a little white lie

Have I ever lied? Yes. Am I a ''liar''? No. I think the difference being, that I felt badly having lied before...even over something silly and minor. It was never anything big, but it made me feel remorseful for having lied at all. I've dated guys who were what I'd consider to be pathological liars, when the easiest option was to be truthful, they'd lie. And for those types, I think they believe their own lies...as they are likely narcissists.
