if i understood that post, i'd reply with something directly related to that post but since i can't i'll respond to the question i believe i'm a hippie, i like to live closer to nature, when i can i like to spend alot of time outdoors, and i shun popular culture, i don't follow the herd and listen to shit just because it's cool, i listen to the stuff i like, and i don't give a shit what other people think about me (like today i walked around the worlds largest indoor mall in my pajamas)
I have been considered "hippy" in many cultural walks of life, but I think I am perfectly proportioned ( not bottom heavy ), and well balanced in my alternative lifestyle choices most of the time.
I need some basis for this question in order to check my "Hippie" statues: Is canibbalism allowed in the hippie culture? Can we analy probe babies? Can I tie people down to chairs with my extra long hair? Do I have to wear round glasses? Square ones make my head look funnier. If the answers match my criteria, then I could probebly join the hippie folk, it might be a nice change from the Church of Bob Sagan counterculture.
Hippie is defined as someone who does not confrom to society's standards. Therefore if you call yourself a hippie ou are not, b/c you are conforming to society's standards fo being a hippie! So please stop with all the hippie bullshit...
there are many ways to be hip and many people know they are using them ways but its how you live out your life as a hippie and be free
Even though I am often labeled a hippy by those around me. I do not label myself as one. I dont like to label myself as one thing or another without being sure that that is what I am 100%. I am me. Thats all I will ever be. Not part of a group, or society. I am one person capeable of doing whatever it is that I want to achieve. :bandana:
i may not have the look of a hippy, but i feel like i am one. i can't stand society's standard, i try to be myself, at least on the inside as much as i can, i enjoy writing poetry, i love nature...
