Are too many speculations bad?

Yeah, it was a joke answer to a joke thread. Stoopid.

 

I speculated in public once, you should have seen the looks I got.

 

I decided to think about whether I'm a procrastinator or not. Let's see--that was back in 1958. I'm almost done thinking about it.

 

Understandable. Understanding where a person's coming from or their point of view as the interaction progresses isn't that difficult. As for winning and losing. Nobody wins or losses anything. You may gain a larger ego, or a bruised ego but that ties with taking it too seriously.

As for me personally. I don't care to argue as much as i use to. Now i hold back before i didn't. I would say from about 2012 - 2015 i use to get into a lot of arguments and debates on the forums.

I concur. I get the sense a lot of people debate just to hear themselves talk but I prefer to debate with people who are passionate about their beliefs (debate isnt the right word really, i prefer discuss)

But with that said I do think debates are fun and dont really view them as a negative. I switch back and forth between making stupid jokes on the chat threads here and serious conversation on threads aimed at serious topics and have fun doing both

 

Arguing on HF. Even when you're 100% right, you're still 100% wrong.
