A friend of mine went out picking mushrooms outside his house and took a picture. He asked me to post it on here just to check if they're not poisonous and if they're magic mushrooms at all
Have you just gone out and found random mushrooms in a field and picked them? You've got a few bigass fuckers on the left there and then a bunch of babies.. Being in the UK I'd suggest you only look for liberty caps, there are other psychoactive mushies in England but they're a lot harder to find and there's not really enough info to go hunting for 'em if you're not experienced and don't know what you're doing. Have a look on Shroomery.org, they've got some pretty handy picking guides.. but be careful and if you're not sure whether it's a liberty or not, chuck it away. Nobody likes the shits.
Why is it that any time someone posts pictures of a mushroom asking if it is a magic mushroom they A) post a horrible picture that looks it was taken with a shitty cell phone camera and is out of focus B) Offers no other specifics such as habitat found, a spore print color or even whether or not it had a blue bruising reaction. I use to work with poison control in my county to identify mushrooms that people had eaten and were now in the hospital with a wild range of symptoms from an upset stomach to being near death. Usually it was a foreigner misidentified a local toxic species as a edible from their home country ( usually people from laos eating Death Caps (Amanita phalloides) which resembles a highly prized edible from their home country or some dumb ass kid stuffing any mushroom he could find into his mouth hoping to trip balls and ending up with bloodly diarrhea or dying. Ive seen 3 people die from eating toxic mushrooms..... twice from Amanita phalloides and once from Galerina marginata. It is a gruesome way to die and medical treatment is often useless because you don't feel any ill effects under several days later after your liver is already destroyed and your blood is drowning in your own filth. In other words try picking up a book and learning something about psilocybin mushrooms instead of just bringing home any toadstool you find growing in your back yard. here is a great starting guide for free: http://www.4shared.com/document/TYuV4pK9/Psilocybin_Mushrooms_of_the_Wo.htm
