are potheads good for society?

I mean do they have a purpose, do they benefit society, their community. are they a waste or are they productive. do they help out their fellow citizen or do they lounge around and play videogames all day. is the stoner population growing and is it a good thing? in your opinion what is the essense of a stoner? what makes them special and useful in their families life, in their community, their country? let's discuss and please be honest..

i'm referring to today's potheads. and i mean hardcore potheads that smoke it every minute of the day. really addicted people who claim they need it to have fun or be functional. thanks.

i think it's a very interesting topic. and why should we not discuss the role stoners play on society. you want legalization of marijuana don't you? so you play an integral part of that movement. i think it's legitimate the discussion we're having.

i'm talking about people who are addicted to marijuana. not coffee addicts although any addict i'm sure runs into problems. i just ask questions.

what is so wrong about questioning a large portion of the world. because to me, i don't smoke marijuana. to me it's alien. it's something i wouldn't want to do everyday for the rest of my life. so i just inquire about people that do and ask questions.

in america at least marijuana legalization* is all over the news and i'm not supposed to ask questions and i'm on the marijuana forum lol. i'm just trying to get perspective and personal opinions on that life.

 

My observations are: Pot makes you selfish, ie all about you, how you are feeling, what you want to do. It makes you less incline to help others. It makes you anti the system. Which is fine, it tends to render you anti get up and do anything as well.
It creates aggression. The fuse is shortened considerably.
Also it makes you depressed long term. These are facts. and yes, im talking from personal experience.

 

How does it create aggression? It's quite the opposite actually...

 

YOUR personal experience. Certainly not mine. If you can't handle it--stay away from it.

It soothes the aches and pains away from my life when I choose to use it.
