New Politico owner who preaches “nonpartisan” reporting invited execs to “pray” for Trump reelection The new owner, Axel Springer, sent an email to his executives asking, "Do we all want to get together for an hour in the morning on November 3 and pray that Donald Trump will again become President of the United States of America?" Of course he lied about it until confronted with a print out. Changes spark chatter of CNN shifting to the right Brian Stelter a leading critic of Trump and FOX "News" White House correspondent John Hardwood were fired by the new owner, Chris Licht, in an apparent effort to silence criticism of Donald Trump. NPR reported that CNN is now forbidden to use the term "The big Lie". More firings of Trump critics is expected but I think Chris will wait awhile until the outrage dies down.
He could try that, but it would be a really stupid financial decision. Right wing viewers would never watch CNN because those three letters carry too much baggage and left wing viewers would just go elsewhere. You can't sell commercial slots if there are no viewers. Of course, buying a company just to crash it is not unheard of.... Or maybe he's just rich and stupid. That has happened before too.
A bit of correction: Chris Licht is CEO and head of CNN, but not the owner. The Discovery Channel seems to be the owner now. Weird, eh?
It looks like Leftwing viewers left some time ago at CNN, which is not profitable and has already crashed. Is this a move to the Right, of a move to the center ? Profits Slump at CNN as Ratings Plummet
The worship of Stormy Daniels and John Avenatti, Esq. The innocent-child-like acceptance of The Steele Dossier. Crossfore Hurricaine. The "Summer of Love" "Transitory inflation" 80,000 new IRS Agents. need I go on? Politics is about so much more than Donald Trump. The community of news customers want CNN to take those blinders off.
Stormy Daniels was an on going investigation. Are you suggesting they shouldn't have covered it? Same with the Steel Dossier and Crossfore Hurricaine. As with Daniels these were ongoing investigations reported on not just by CNN, but the entire range of media of all sorts including the web. Here is a report by CNN before the take over by Chris Licht and Discovery. The Steele dossier: A reckoning I don't know why you referenced The "Summer of Love" as CNN wasn't in existence in 1967. Some special perhaps? Same with "Transitory inflation". That's a term used by Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell and CNN seems to discount it. The Fed needs to get real about inflation Same with 80,000 new IRS Agents. Here's a CNN article about that. The IRS is set to get billions for audit enforcement. Here’s what it means for taxpayers Yeah, I'd like you to go on and explain what you don't like about CNN's reporting of each of theses topics as I'm confused.
I typed in "Jenny Durkan cnn summer of love" into Duck Duck Go and this was all I got. Seattle mayor announces city will reclaim police-free autonomous zone taken over by demonstrators Seattle’s mayor is set to sign a new city budget cutting the police department’s funding by 18% What don't you like about these articles?
All TV news is on its way out. FOX might be #1 now, but in five years, half their audience will be dead... People can go on YouTube and get much better information, better personalities, and a much better selection than cable. Some have gone from cable to YouTube and done very well. It's funny to analyze when one goes from MSNBC to Al-Jazeera, back to MSNBC... What a sham - their opinions suddenly "change".
I do know that this is painful. Im kinda sympathetic. Viewers rip CNN for moving 'pandering' Jake Tapper to primetime
Jake Tapper Slammed for Suggesting Biden Invite Trump to Queen's Funeral Why would he even think this?
