What's your opinion? I would say: definatly, drugs are like a double edged blade, it can do both good, but it can also be very harmfull at the same time, and this is often being overlooked. I'm done with drugs, i had 2 years of excessive drug use, ranging from weed and psychedelics to hard drugs like speed. (even after many months of being sober i still feel like my mind is the aftermath of a nuclear war) Alot of my friends (those who do hard drugs and soft drugs on a regular base) also agree that drugs is underrestimated, most of my friends even go so far to saying that they wished they never started with it in the first place. What do you think? And do you think drugs can be used in a responsible way? and also, should underaged kids do drugs?
I wouldn't say drugs are underestimated. There's plenty of differeing opinions on them, and plenty of facts. I'd say drugs are a well documented and researched topic.
yeah well, guess I am what I am. not all of us can be ultimate, great, super awesome undefeatable sages.
Gotta love the whole 'You are immature" "no, you are immature" and then all the spelling corrections and shit. gets really old. Just because "mother earth" has "given" us some drug doesn't mean it is safe or clean by any means. it's the truth, deal with, buncha self-obsessed, tree huggin, high-on-your-own-piss hippies! The Mushroom Man
guess it whould depend on witch type of situation your in like how your presented to the drugs like do you want to do these drugs or do you just want to do these drugs because their there
Ok to properly answer your question, I think it depends on who is doing the estimating. To the general public, I think drugs are almost overestimated. There is this whole negative stigma and fear surrounding them that disables people from seeing any inherent use for them. On the other side of the coin, in the underworld of society, drugs are definatly underestimated. A lot of users go into this world with the mentality that they are invincible, that being undefeatable and remaining unfazed throughout any experience is necessary to be cool and strong. In doing this, they reinforce a mindset that is dangerous for a drug user.
EveryThing in life needs a BALANCE. thats the key. drinking to much water will kill you. same goes with a drug. to much of anything is bad. balance people balance. speaking of piss and getting hight. have anyone seen the "cheezing" episode of south park... thats some funny shit.
Well I mean obviously, this is why people get addicted and/or die. I mean, you just gotta use the utmost caution and be responsible and use recreationally.
as for piss drinking its effing delicious I personally believe that drugs are underestimated. I know I have underestimated them before my first dance with lucy turned sour cause of the amount of underestimation and a drug like speed could never be over estimated that shit is horrid for you. there is the old adage all things in moderation if you just pay attention to that adage you will be in good shape imo
I really dont like when people use the term use recreationally. It just seems so... like all you are doing it for is fun sure its fun but you should be using for the experience
Why not just for fun if it is done 'recreationally'? Don't you learn from everything you do in life, so can't you just do things for fun? When trying drugs you should be careful, that's all.
because there has been a huge flux of teens using just for fun dont get me wrong it is fun and i like using for fun i just think recreationally is the wrong term to stamp onto drug use and yes you sure do learn from everything you do in life but if you look at it from the mindset of some 15 yr old kid just getting into it he hears "recreational" drug use and thinks oh doing drugs is just for fun. It seems to me like its the wrong mindset to put someone in as we all know how fast someone can get swept up into drugs
I do agree that drugs can be used both equally for fun and for spiritual purposes; as they should be. It's up to the user to use them how they see fit. I would clarify though, by saying that I don't agree with the increase in relatively "young" people getting into drugs. Let's face it, at 15 you are a child. I know I'm not much older, but most of the people I've known throughout my life were a wreck of sorts at that age. Altered states of consciousness should not be experienced until one can come to terms with the sober state of consciousness, which only comes with maturity.
