Are condoms different sizes?

Condoms usually feel really tight do the magnum XL ones really make a difference or no is it just advertising?

 

I don't know....I've never been able to find one big enough myself ;D

They make a difference. You have to measure your penis fully erect in order to get the correct size to fit. Since the penis varies in size from man to man there are a plethora of choices available. For example the one you ask about, Magnum XL, is 2.13″/54 mm wide and 8.07″/205 mm long. The width at the head is 2.48″/63 mm and that makes a big difference in feel. Compared to the Durex Close Fit which measures only 1.92"/49 mm wide and 7.01"/178 mm long with no allowance for the head it is much larger and comfortable for larger girth men. Length of the condom doesn't matter as much unless you are very well endowed as in over 9" erect. In that case the Durex XXL would be the size to use as it is 2.13″/54 mm wide, with a head width of 2.56″/65 mm, and is 9.5″/228.6 mm long.

Measure your erect penis in 3 places paying close attention to the head and shaft diameter. Start by measuring the length from the base to the tip along the top. Do not measure along the side or bottom. Press the ruler in so it presses against your pubic bone. Next, measure the girth or circumference of your penis. Gently wrap some string around the thickest part of the shaft and where it comes together mark it and place it on a ruler. Take this measurement and divide it by 3.14 to get your width. Do the same for the head and don't cheat. Making yourself bigger than you are defeats the function of a properly fit condom. You can lie about your size later. (Ha, ha)

So, a magnum has greater diameter than regular condoms do; I do not know by how much. You have to go look in the condom store.
