On April Fools Day I was listening to a Dead show from that day in 1980. They opened up with a Promised Land and it sounded aweful. I couldn't figure it out until Bobby says, "April Fool". They open up with Bobby on keyboards, Brent and Jerry on drums, Bill on bass, and Mickey and Phil on guitar. It's worth listening to for a laugh. Anyone else heard this show?
what i love about this show is after they play the April Fools Promise Land, they proceed to go into Promise Land for real......i love the dead.....they're the heart of gold band....
