I don't personaly see the point.. my cousin bought one, and almost every feature it has, I have on my touch. If I want something that big, I'll buy a laptop
Almost my exact thoughts. True the ipad is an interesting and kind of innovative device but what really is it's main use? It is basically the size of a laptop. Also almost everything you can do on it, you can do on an itouch. Idk my friend has one and loves it but I am not sure why I wold need one.
My brother has one. It's cool and all, but I have all of that on my iTouch and I've never wanted the phone. I'm happy with my laptop thank you very much.
They were going to release the iPad first but then Steve Jobbs said "Hai letz mayk it small so we cn git it out fastr" And so they did.
Like everything, it's just a money thing. The new craze which will see millions brought in, only for them to release a better version in a couple of months time.
At the moment the price is 500usd per unit, two months ago, or whenever the ipad was released, they sold I believe around a million units in one month, the next month apple did the same thing. For some reason the public loves all of apples shit.
