Apologies to Skip

It's way too easy to get caught up in the emotions behind one's beliefs. The trick is not to get personal about it. You want to attack the ideas of others, that's fine. But attacking individuals personally isn't allowed, as you know. That acts as a brake on free speech, when people get insulted for just saying what they think.

Unfortunately Christians have a long and infamous history of censorship that must be overcome. Christians have burned books and censored the thoughts of so many people over the centuries. I won't even get into the Inquisition and the witch burnings.

So if Christians want to be respected, they must first respect the beliefs of others, which seems to be quite a challenge to most Xtians.

And now when Christians are killing muslims every day, you must take AFFIRMATIVE action, like taking to the streets, organizing protests, writing your congressmen, etc. to PROVE that you really do care and act from LOVE and not GREED.

If you DON'T do these things today, right now, then you CANNOT call yourself a Christian because you are LETTING your LEADERS KILL non-Christians in your name, and the name of Christ. Is that what you want?

 

Uh, if that was the only problem with Xtians, I wouldn't have a problem with them. But that is just SUPERFICIAL.

What is far worse is the consequences of their belief system, which results in endless wars, disrespect and exploitation of the environment, venomous hate towards all who are different, censorship, support of warmongering hypocrites just because they're Christian, disrespect of science, imposing their belief system & morality upon non-christians... I could go on and on.

Yet you only pointed out the most superficial of reasons not to like Christians. I put my reasons WAY above yours in importance.

Didn't jesus preach peace? So how can Xtians say it's time for war, and still be faithful to their "god"?

Another BTW, if you all want to apologize, I think y'all should start with apologizing for the crimes of Christians against the world for the past 2,000 years. That's a starting point. Then maybe you will be deserving of respect.

Christians ARE THE MOST TO BLAME for the Iraq war, for re-electing BUSHIT as their leader.

Rather than gripe at you guys now, I have SOLUTIONS for you.

First of all, every Christian should write to the HEAD of their church, not your local pastor or priest, but the BIG fucking head of your church, AND write to the COUNCILS that oversee your sect, and tell ALL of them that you feel the war is UNCHRISTIAN and every effort should be made to stop this war NOW!

You should start a NEW organization called CAW, Christians Against War, and the mission should be to SHOUT from the BIGGEST MEDIA outlets you can that the war is ANTI-CHRISTIAN as well as ANTI-MUSLIM, and should be halted immediately.

Until these things are done, the war will continue. Show the world that Christians actually follow the teachings of CHRIST, and not their shallow, corrupt leader when it comes to war.

Historically the Church still has a LOT to answer for, and unless America's Christians can unite against this war, responsibility for it will FOREVER be upon you.

You got us into it, you can get us out of it. NOBODY ELSE CAN!!!

This is what I've concluded from studying four years of Xtian participation in this horrific debacle.

So either you're FOR WAR or AGAINST IT. There is no middle ground anymore. The troops HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. It's not about them, it's about KILLING, MURDER, GREED and RELIGION. Is this what Christ would want you all to be supporting in his name? (why do I never get an answer to that question?)

That was from Matthew who obviously misquoted an old testament passage by Micah, in a failed attempt to prove that Jesus fulfilled some stupid prophecy.

So Matthew LIED saying Jesus had said those words when there is no second source for that statement. So apparently HISTORY was rewritten by these apostles so that it would appear that Jesus fulfilled prophecy as the awaited messiah, by putting words into his mouth that he never said...

So we now have a choice. Believe that Christianity is a religion of terrorists, or believe that the words of Jesus were perverted by his followers to make him appear to be something he wasn't.

In any case, even if Jesus DID utter those words, again he was just stating FACTS. Because ANY new religion will encounter the same difficulties he predicted because RELIGION DIVIDES PEOPLE and families. Religion draws lines between believers and unbelievers. Therein lies its greatest flaw.

But I'm more incensed with the "worthy" bullshit, because that prejudges everyone and again divides people.

All these religions are setup to GET and KEEP followers at whatever cost. Prostelitizing and THREATS are how they stay in business. By threatening a people with ETERNAL DAMNATION, they manage to get and keep ppl OUT OF FEAR!

And using FEAR to get people to join your cause IS TERRORISM at its worse!
