Apocalypto by Mel Gibson's

It's very very good film!
And you opinion?

 

I dunno. Kinda like the idea that people from a certain area of the world actually speak the native language and not english with a bad accent. Gives it more of a realistic view of the times and culture.

 

Hey guys I have the DVD at home and I've not yet watched it!!!Was busy recently I think that I'll watch it tonight!!!

 

I really liked Apocalypto, although I am a bit stymied by Mr. Gibson's obsession with gory violence. I think one guy getting his heart pulled out of his chest while it was still beating, followed by getting beheaded was plenty. I didn't need to see that six times.

Other than that, though, very well done.

Yeah, too much violence, but I guess it made the movie look like this, it wouldn't be the same without this quantity of violence...And, I really sympathized with the main character....Pretty good movie.....

 

I finally watched it tonight. Very impressive. You really need a good sense of history to understand it though.

Incredibly disappointing. This is Mel Gibson finally catching his little niche wave and riding it to the bank. No redeeming qualities in this one. Nothing original.
