Aphex Twin

Any fans out there? I think his most accomplished album is his self-titled Richard D. James. Also check out his Windowlicker EP, the title song is amazing. Also has anyone see him play live? I can't imagine what it would be like.

 

I saw him live in 2000 at the Lowlands festival in the Netherlands and I don't remember one bit of it. He has some cool stuff, Come to daddy is one of my favourites. I don't know all his albums though. That windowlickersleeve is classic!:

 

i've only heard "Selected Ambient Works 85-92", but i really enjoy it. im planning on gettin more into aphex twin soon.

 

just recently started listening to them, must say i'm impressed can't wait to hear more!

For some reason no one seems to like Drukqs. I love that album, along with the Selected ambient works... but that's all I've heard.

 

I've liked almost everything I've heard of them, definitely one of my favorite electronica producers.

 

I am a fan. Some of his work I love. Some annoys me. Talented artist nevertheless. His albums are never far from my CD player.

 

Oh yeah, that's a great album. Most of his stuff is a little too strange for me, but that album is golden.

Dear God. The man's insane, but brilliant. I love his stuff, especially this one remix of a David Bowie song, that was crazy.

 

i love Aphex Twin. Richard D. James is a feckin' GENIUS.
I have almost the entire discography.

He's great alright

Some of his singles are well worth buying too. I picked up 4 from the Warp Records site not too long ago - The price was around the £10 mark and there's easily an hour's worth of music.

"Selected Ambient Works 85-92" is marvellous stuff, but I think the "Come To Daddy" EP has to be my favourite.

 

Chosen Lords is probably my favourite album so far. Why's he AFX now? Something about a drug company sueing him for Aphex or so I hear?
