Anyone enjoy these albums as much as me? They're right up there with Eno's instrumental stuff for me. I hope he makes another one.

Oh of course...They're classics! But There's also so much more out there. For me personally (and I know this is a bias but what the hell), the 90s were the heyday of ambient music...though excellent material has been produced every decade. Take a stab at my ambient megamix a few threads down. :) There's some Richard D. James in there (twice) along with many, many other legends of ambient & even some new age & field sound recording pioneers!

I hear Aphex is still doing the occasional tour and just using a laptop on stage now. Meh...That's great 'n all...but I miss the days of large analog & digital synths on stage. Gimme machines and wires! Haha. Cheers from the Mississippi Delta. :)

Will be getting some albums at crimo. Lots more Aphex on my list. I love the Analord stuff or AFX whatever. i'm confused. Tracks like XMD5 A, Crying in Your Face, Halibut Acid. It's not really ambient but acidy?
