so needless to say, i'm high and this is what i just thought up-anything is possible really, because there is no limit to how smart you are. and there are like 6 billion people or so in the world and everyone is thinking something different, know 2 people have the same exact thoughts, so who's to say who is the smartest person and stuff 'cause there are all these little brains out there thinking up so probaly really intelligent stuff, and i bet that like a thought has been out there that we could really use to like solve global warming but someone just didn't think it would work or whatever so never said anything!??! i donno maybe i sound like an idiot...if so, i sahhheeee
naw, i understand what you're saying. I sometimes think that other people think entirely different than I do? And I mean entirely... like when i'm high in a room of sober people and i hear them talking about something i think "wtf? you people are weird." Its funny to mess with people. Like the other day my roomate was talking to me about sports, which I could care less about, but I acted all interested and he got all excited and shit. Like he felt good because i could related (which in fact I didn't) It gave him like a false sense of happiness. I do it a lot when he talks to me about stuff that went on the night before. I just nod, and then he feels validated. Why the hell do you need me to agree with you? ... shit I got off topic... uhm so yeah, who knows who's the smartest. Plus, there are differing degrees of intelligence, and a lot of different stuff to be smart about....yeah

Thinking about the big picture, like all the people in the world, always reminds me of how insignificant I am...but I guess if you make one person happy you're significant. Ohhh... and what if people in mental institutions really know something that noone else knows? But no one listens to them cuz they're crazy..

Yeah I went to school stoned this morning and me and a friend was talking about this kind of things. Like what if we could make invisible weed with no smell. but there was a way to see it by wearing special glasses. That would be smooth. but yeah we were talking about everything is possible. All you know about the universe is the information you get from your brain, which is comming in from the senses, this could all be some sort of matrix or something, or like Maybe if you think hard enough and believe it, you can have the force or something. That would be awesome and I think it is very true.
oh i read the first post again and i disagree that theres no limit to how intelligent we are. there is a limit, but most people dont reach it. and theres limits to differnet areas, not just a universal 'intelligence'
Since no ones brain chemistry is the same as anyone elses, probably everyone thinks at least a little bit different than everyone else. Well, that's how friendships/relationships between people are built. You can't just be self interested, so of course he wants to know you care what he has to say. As to this: I'm not so sure. How much time do you actually spend thinking intelligently? Mostly, it's stupid shit about the people or setting around you, childish whining to yourself or making arguments to yourself after any oppritunity to actually argue the person has long passed. Like that comeback you think up 10 minutes too late. But you're right, I bet a lot of good ideas have been hidden and lost forever because people were embarrased to voice their opinion, thinking they aren't smart enough of the idea is stupid. Sad, really.
