Anyone like Bob Marley?

He was just.....genius. That's basically all I can really say. What's your favorite Marley song? Mine's "Redemption Song", a power like no other.

 

Ofcourse I like Marley. Infact I adore him! ...But I cant choose just one song. There are so many I like.

 

Yeah... he's really great. I really like his use of the wah-wah in all of his electric stuff and his folky-reggae stuff is just so damn awesome.

if any of you ever get the chance- go to Jamaica. It's like an entire country that celebrates him everyday! They idolize him down there. It's very beautiful.

 

Yeah, its crazy down there the way they worship him. Heh.

 

I have a great appreciation for him as an individual, and musician... he was a brilliant messenger, actually he still is. This past Sunday I learned "Redemption Song", also my favorite, on guitar in honor of his birthday.

there was an old marley man concert from like 79 on Trio last night. i checked online and found it will repeat at random all this week. also found Bonnaroo 2003 special check it out www.vh1.com and look for a link to Rock on TV

Damn ... I can't belive that there are people who don't like Bob Marley! I would have to say that my favorite is "Redemtion song" ... Its so moving ...
