    I grew up in Medford and never spent much time in GP unless it was about playing competitive sports with Grants Pass schools.

    However this summer I spent some time hiking the Illinois River canyons and that is quite possibly my favorite river in Oregon! Perfect temperature, clear water, and amazing rock cliffs for diving.
