Maybe you could turn that foundation into a three season living space as in sort of a patio area and build the new workshop on sonic tubes instead of a full foundation. Would be more economical and might be an option. If the open area is a benefit it might be better to leave it and work around the costing of a foundation. I hear you about building.....takes time and you have to feel it or it just does not feel like fun.
There used to be one parked in front of my apartment building that didn't look like it'd be that hard to steal...it gone now tho :-( I wonder how much it costs to park that...something tells me the backhoe was exempt
Dont need a backhoe anymore. Tore that thing down with my saw and tractor. lol Im really liking having the south open. Good breeze and views. I've thought about using the pad for a patio with a gazebo or canopy thing with outdoor furniture.
